Natural Mustard Seeds

Mustard is member of the Brassica (Brassica cruciferea includes cauliflowers, broccoli, brussels, etc) family of plants, edible seeds and tasty leaves, seeds can be pressed to make oil and leaves can be eaten.  Mustard comes from the Latin word mustum that means young wine and ardens means hot and flaming.  Archeological excavations in Indus Valley revealed that mustard was cultivated there though Romans & Greek were probably the first to experiment with the preparation of mustard as condiment.  Today it is used across the world and is amongst the most popular and widely used spice through the continets.It is used as a medicine, condiment, spice, sauces, vinaigrette, mayonnaise, etc.  Mustard is rich in vitamins and nutrients found include selenium and omega 3 fatty acids. Mustard sauce is second only to ketchup in popularity.
