Svaguna’s garlic pickle is made in traditional South Indian style with tamarind as the base, tamarind gives the pickle a tangy taste. We procure our tamarind from the tribals who collect them from the forest, we make a tamarind paste with varied spices and loads of chilly powder to give it a tangy pungent taste. Once the paste is ready we add mustard oil and cloves of raw garlic to the paste to make it a garlic pickle.
Magnesium is loaded in tamarind, tamarind and garlic together help prevent oxidative damage and take out free radicals as they are loaded with anti-oxidants. Garlic and tamarind promote heart health, is anti-inflammatory and helps build immunity.
Raw garlic is very pungent to eat by itself but with the tamarind paste, it gets easy to have raw garlic and take all it benefits from the spice. Svaguna’s garlic pickle is amongst the most favoured pickle by our customers. It is a good accompaniment to any meal or snacks.
