Makhana: 100 gms
Haldi Powder: As per taste
Mustard: As per flavour
Jeera Powder: As per taste
Garlic: 4 to 5 cloves (freshly hand ground to make a paste)
Pudina Leaves: 6 to 7 leaves (freshly hand ground to make a paste)
Coriander Leaves: A handful
Green Chilly: 1/2 or 1 Green Chilly (freshly hand ground to make a paste)
Rock Salt: As per taste
Ghee: 2 to 3 tablespoon

How to Make

Step 1:
Roast makhana for 2.5-3.5 minutes on medium flame.
Step 2:
Heat some ghee in saucepan, temper ghee with mustard seeds, haldi powder, garlic, green chilly and pudina paste and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add the roasted makhana and roast for 2 minutes and then jeera powder, chopped coriander leaves and rock salt and stir well for a minute or two on the flame.
Step 3:
Makhana is ready to be eaten.
